so cold
like
crazy cold

i have mittens
i have a scarf
i even have
two winter coats
and i still feel the coldness of the city

but then
i take your hand
i look at lights
and it gets a little warmer

but then
i look at you
i look at life
and i get a little warmer
we are happy
we are alive
i am so excited about
