i am in my house
(i am on my computer, as you can see)
and i look outside
seeing the storm
telling myself
i should write something about it
i am a poet
i should poem
but i really just
wanna
watch netflix
and
chill

so instead
i *think* about writing poetry
and that’s enough
for today
